Overview

The purpose of this prolonged drop style is to turn a digital asset primary sale into a steady stream. Currently, highly anticipated drops open and sell out at a very fast pace. If a user is otherwise occupied, they have no choice but to go to the secondary market to find the NFT for them.

With 2inyhorse, the series has been inflationary and ongoing. This allowed for multiple points of entry over time, making the series more accessible to future collectors. With the revised OATS Pass style of drop described below, we will be able to keep that drop window open for months rather than seconds. With larger collaboration events and weekend guest spots giving prospective users a method to acquire OATS, new users can start working towards earning their first horse with more ease than ever before.

2inyhorse History — OATS Pass

Starting today, you can now start collecting OATS Passes for our History Theme 2inyhorse drop through The Factory at https://thurstober.com. There will be two main ways one can acquire an OATS Pass:

• Buy it now for 50,000 OATS
• Win an OATS Pass Voucher via bonus game and purchase an OATS pass for the reduced price of 10,000 OATS

In Q1 2024, users will be able to exchange OATS Passes for the right to buy a 2inyhorse for $25 USD using our new mint system. Being a multi-chain project, we created a user experience where users can pay with any of the supported chains currencies. We have also included a feature where you can pay with one wallet, and claim with any linked wallet. This means that you can pay with Algorand and have your horse minted on the XRPL.

We are also looking to enable Credit Card Payments that allow for users to pay with FIAT currencies and can then claim with their crypto wallets.

The history drop will signify the end of the 2inyhorse series with a soft cap of ~4,500 assets. Customs, Collaborations, and Special themed 2inyhorses will still be minted under the 2inyhorse series*.

For entirely new users without OATS, we will also be offering Opt-In style shuffles which will grant the right to buy a 2inyhorse at $25 USD. These will be announced at strategic times over the course of the drop.

Fancyhorse

Fancyhorse is currently in the art and technical production process. STUPIDHORSE-derived Fancies will be available during Q1 before we begin our broader release strategy.

Tinierhors3

When 2inyhorse has ended, tinierhors3 will be the continuation of pixel-based, raceable assets.

With around 6,000 tinyhorse and 2inyhorse in circulation, tinierhors3 will be an uncapped series and represents an entrance point for new users at any time. These horses will be easier to acquire, but come at the cost of longer cooldowns and lesser perks.

Overall

As we continue to grow and scale, the balance between keeping things open and accessible becomes more difficult. OATS provide an excellent means of allowing existing players to build their stables, but it becomes difficult for new players to join.

Having opt-in shuffles and a constantly available primary drop are ways in which we are working towards growing our user base, while also growing our presence across blockchains.
