As part of a thank you to the Algorand Ecosystem, team thurstober partnered with ByKewel to make easy tooling for creators. Adding metadata was always a struggle, but now it can be done in only a couple of steps!

Here is how to download a collection:

Step 1: Visit https://evil-tools.thurstober.com/download-arc69-collection-data

Step 2: Input Creator Address and Select Main Net or Testnet and press Get Collection Data

Step 3: Download data as CSV

You will now have all your collection’s blockchain information including any existing metadata! You can use this to create a table to start filtering by traits, ASA IDs, or even the rarity score by calculating it first and filtering!

Now you want to upload the metadata to the series here is how:

Step 1: Open up the CSV and Delete the name, unit-name, and url columns (Columns B, C, and D)

Step 2: If you have existing metadata categories, fill them in next to the appropriate ASA. If you want to add a new category, start a new column with metadata_ and have your category name after the underscore. Example: metadata_Hair Style

Here is an outline of all the fields:
description: Enter a custom description for the asset
external_url: Enter your website or discord
mime_type: The type of file you’re minting (ex: image/png)
metadata_property_1: The trait category that counts for rarity (ex: metadata_property_Background) — Please note you can add as many as you want
metadata_filter_1: The trait category that does not count for rarity (ex: metadata_property_Level) — Please note you can add as many as you want

Step 3: Save the file and head back to https://evil-tools.thurstober.com/arc69-metadata-update and select the Batch Collection Metadata Update and Connect with the Creator Wallet

Step 4: Once you are connected upload the CSV file and Press Approve and Send.

Step 5: Sign the transaction and watch your metadata for the series be updated with the click of a button!

Please note: Due to Pera Limitations, you can only update up to 64 Assets on Pera Mobile and 128 Assets on Pera Web. If you wish to use more, try out Infinity Mode!

If you enjoyed this tool, please be sure to check the donate bottom at the bottom of the page and help support our Developers in the ecosystem!

*Disclaimers — Make sure to check the file is correct before uploading again. Due to pulling blockchain information, API data can become scrambled. This can all be rectified in the sheet itself.*
